A graduate of the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Indianapolis, Ron has 27 years of planning, management and executive-level experience within the accessible public transit and paratransit industry.
Ron currently serves as the Vice-President for Transit Market development for American Logistics, a national leader in the delivery of technology-driven on-demand transportation services for seniors, people with disabilities and other people who need and deserve reliable transportation. In this role, he is leading the company’s efforts to introduce on-demand paratransit services that use products like Uber, taxicab companies and other providers to deliver paratransit that is accessible, equitable and more flexible for customers and more financially sustainable for the agencies and taxpayers who fund these critical services.
In addition to his work at American Logistics, Ron is an active speaker and thought leader within the transit industry. He is the former Chairman of the American Public Transportation Association’s Access Committee, a member of several APTA and Transportation Research Board committees, and he is heavily involved in the Southwest Transit Association—a trade association representing transit agencies, vendors, consultants and regulators across eight southwestern states. Ron is also very involved within the disability advocacy community and brings both the perspective of a customer and that of an experienced transportation veteran to everything he does.
