Chad lives and works in Austin, Texas at Capital Metro where he oversees Capital Metro’s demand responsive programs. The main programs in this division are the MetroAccess ADA paratransit program and the on-demand service called Pickup. Chad also leads Capital Metro’s various other innovative initiatives such as, micro-mobility partnerships, bikeshares, retired vehicle exchange programs, and all other programs/initiatives that don’t fall under the traditional definition of fixed-route public transportation. Chad is playing a central role in moving Capital Metro from a transit provider to a holistic mobility provider in the region. This shift is being accomplished by considering the countless ways to connect customers to the high-frequency, high-capacity, and accessible fixed route system. Chad graduated from the University of Montana, Missoula with a BS in Business. He also earned a Masters in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Austin.
